Reading: Recommend a Book 推荐一本书

Each Book Recommendations is reviewed by the library and if appropriate, a purchase will be made.  图书馆将会对每本书进行核查，筛选出适合的书并计划购买。

Examples showing where a purchase may be appropriate: 哪些书会更容易被图书馆采选？

• Recently published (within last 12 months) 近期出版（一年以内）
• Age and developmentally appropriate for the students served 适合学生阅读具有正确价值导向
• Award books 获奖书籍
• Supports teaching/learning at Huili community 积极支持惠立社群教学

Examples showing where a purchase may not be appropriate: 哪些书是不适合推荐的：

• Out of print or difficult to buy 不再印刷或者极难买到的版本
• Cost prohibitive 价格过高
• For a specialist research project or dissertation, and unlikely to be well used long term by others 仅用于特殊需求和目的求购，因不适合于其余读者阅读故无收藏价值

Professional book requests will be considered where they align to teaching/learning activity at Huili School.
